This morning

the cool air

following the storm.

Nature

in the mountains,

formidable as in

Lake Tahoe,

fresh air to taste

after storm,

das Haus umgeben
von Donner und Blitz,
Konstante,
das dauerte Stunden.
Heute Morgen
die kühle Luft
nach dem Sturm.
Natur
in den Bergen,
formidable wie in
Lake Tahoe,
Frischluft Geschmack
nach dem Sturm,
Duft des neuen Lebens.

Nouvelle Vie.

These Trees

　

　
These trees that

live on

long after us:

Red Oak in Texas,

the purple-flowered

tree of unknown

(to me)

name here in New Mexico --

it has grown with

my care with watering

during years of drought,

beginning at less than

six feet,

climbing to more

than twelve,

this year

three different flowerings

to attract

the hummingbirds,

one couple back

for their seventh year.

lange nach uns:
Red Oak in Texas,
die lila blühenden
Baum unbekannter
(mir)
Name hier in New Mexico -
es hat sich mit
meine Sorge mit Bewässerung
während Jahren der Dürre,
beginnend bei weniger als
sechs Fuß,
Klettern mehr
als zwölf,
dieses Jahr
drei verschiedene flowerings
anziehen
die Kolibris,
ein Paar zurück
für ihr siebtes Jahr.
